My question: How to extinguish poverty and hunger? Question seems easy to answer, but very complex when it comes to practical solution.If you think a plate of food is enough to answer a handful of coins and to alleviate poverty, we are very wrong! Not only that, but friends understand one thing: Why only give food and emergency financial aid? What is the long-term benefit of the family allowance given by the government?I think it's past time to understand the most important thing is not to give the fish to the hungry and do not have the money, but to the rod, the hook and teach them to fish.What frustrates me most in society, which is always immediately think of! We have not solved the problem! Did anyone notice this on the planet?

Well, in real terms, how to resolve and what our role in the midst of all this? To resolve these problems, I believe that some action is necessary on our part. Take actions in our day-to-day that usually pass unnoticed.

Here, a child in a corner of a street, asking for a handout so simple and we have two almost automatic attitudes:- We scratch the pocket, we realize we have coins in my pocket, choose the smallest coins and "do our social role."- We scratch the pocket, we realize we have coins in my pocket, we think it is working for some explorer and lied: "I'm not!"

My question is: Which of the two actions is wrong? The two, because if we give in not selecting what is needed, do a completely hypocritical attitude! If we do not give the claim that it works for someone, pre-judge, we lie and do not help the situation of the child's life!

What to do? Friends, use of care is the most noble attitude. Even though we have not a penny, I make you a challenge: Make a gesture of affection! Worth more than any financial amount.I remind you of the episode at the door of the lame fair in Acts 3. It did not solve the immediacy that all would find it necessary. Before, they had a vision of what really needed the lame: The healing not only physical, such as spiritual healing.

Salvation was the miracle of the lame most important story in question, as well as ending hunger and poverty is not the solution, but the salvation of these people.

Act with care, have a gesture of love, living a missionary life and above all: To preach the Gospel in its essence, which is Christ the Lord and his Church of the Redeemer!
